how do i find a foreclosure sale to attend?

i'm interested in attending a live foreclosure sale. I was wondering where do I find a listing of when/where these are held. I'm living in Northern California around the Sacramento area. I went to the HUD website and noticed those are all online auctions. Also, I was wondering about tax foreclosed properties as well. Any guidance is much appreciated!

1. I live in Florida. In this state foreclosure sales are held on the courthouse steps of the county court. Go to the California State government site and look up a link to your county. Usually you can find foreclosure sales listed as a link on the county site which would take you to the clerk of the court. At the clerks site you should have a list of upcoming sales and telephone numbers to call. Hope this helps.
