What do you like the most about Senator McCain?
1. Mostly, I like the fact that Sen. McCain is proud to be an American (and I am proud of him). 2. Sen. McCain won't raise taxes (YOUR hard-earned money stays in your pocket instead of giving it to the government). 3. Sen. McCain will protect Americans around the world and at home. American soldiers will become the background of the fighting, while the Iraqi forces will take the foreground. Our soldiers will eventually stay as peacekeepers and protectors of Americans abroad - as they are in many of the places around the world). 4. Sen. McCain has a strong idea to save family homes from foreclosure. (Clinton's 5 year freeze on what the gov. charges the mortgage lenders has nothing to do with mortgage lenders adjusting the rate to us - the consumer, and as for Obama, he hasn't a clue except to attack Sen. McCain for coming up with a plan). 5. Sen. McCain may be a Republican, but he wants the party to go back to its basic fundimentals - not the was Bush treated it. Sen. McCain knows and respects, and is respected by Democrats in both the House and Senate. He has actually worked with them, and can do so for the better of America when he, Sen. John McCain, become your President of the United States of America. 6. Sen. McCain is honest. 7. Sen. McCain has foreign policy experience, and is well-respected by current foreign leaders with whom he has recently met. 8. Sen. McCain wants to keep jobs in America, and not see them go overseas, so he has a tax incentive plan for businesses to keep jobs here. Sen. McCain wants to financially help individuals to retrain for new jobs after losing jobs to foreign competitors such as the automobile and computer manufacturers. 9. Sen. McCain wants to eliminate the government's road tax during the Summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day). This would save us 18 cents per gallon, and diesel truckers would save 28 cents per gallon. The deisel tax savings would keep costs down due to delivery expenses of goods and services. 10. Sen. McCain lives against the corruption of the system. He could easily earmark millions of dollars for Arizona (like Clinton and Obama have for their states), but he hasn't asked for $1.00 because it's OUR money they take. He doesn't take money from Special Interest Groups because he doesn't want to be in their pocket (like Clinton and Obama have).
Public Comments
- His somewhat MILFy wife.
- John McCain is a war hawk. McCain doesn't have a plan for the economy He doesn't inspire change or hope It's time for universal health care:
- experience, and level headedness!
- All of the things you have said. McCain '08!
- Why is it better to borrow money than raise taxes? Isn't that a little unfair to our children? And if we repeal the gas tax, what do we use to fix our roads?
- His service in Viet Nam. He was a POW for 5 years. His captors offered to send him home, but he refused to go home unless his fellow POW's went home as well. The Viet Namese beat him so badly, his fellow POW's thought he was going to die. That is honor and courage if I have ever heard of it out of a presidential candidate.
- What do I like about John McCain? let me count the ways... but, most importantly for me is his plan to stay the course in Iraq and see the job through to a successful conclusion. John McCain has my vote...and here's why... There is a job that needs to be done in Iraq, and that job still has a way to go before we can consider pulling our troops out or even a major troop reduction. To pull our troops, to "cut and run", as the two Democratic candidates propose to do, would be the coward's way out and would only mean that 4000 of our brave men and women had died in vain, died for nothing. Whether we were wrong or right in invading that country, we made a commitment to the people of Iraq to help them rebuild their nation and create a Democratic society, one free of the terror, torture and death that each and everyone one of them is subject to without our protection. Iran and Syria are trying to destroy Iraq’s democracy because they fear what a stable Iraq could mean for their own countries...and for us to leave abruptly would only allow these two countries to overrun Iraq, creating more turmoil in Iraq, and heightened threats to our own country in it's wake. John McCain did NOT say we will be in Iraq for 100 years, fighting and losing lives like the first 5 years, but said we will be there with a "troop presence" similar to that of South Korea and Germany where after more than 50 years we still maintain a troop presence. Just imagine if we were to pull out of South Korea tomorrow...in a few days Kim Jong-il would be moving his troops quickly to the south to take control of the entire Korean peninsula, and then what would almost 60 years of fighting and losing lives for that country have accomplished...nothing. There will come a time to pullout. That time starts after a permanent government is in place and when the Iraqi's are ready to be mostly responsible for their own security. The time is coming but we must be patient and complete the task at hand. Yes, there's only ONE man for the job of President of the United States ...John McCain.
- What do I like most about McCain. NOTHING seeings how he has flip flopped on every issue he believe in before he run this time around. Just one to be president and doesn't care how many lies he tells trying to get there. He is just like Bush and I say no Third term for Bush.
- i like that he is pro gun and is for the war in iraq
- I like that he's the pub nominee since that makes it easier for the dems to win the white house back.
- He is NOTHING like Hillary or Obama...Thank God! He WILL win this election.
- HE CHOSE to be a Republican !!! ... NOT a Socialist/Communist/Liberal Democrat !!! CHANGE is ALL that you will get back from the Socialist/Communist/Liberal Democrats, when they TAKE your hard earned paycheck from you to give it to able bodied people, "FEEDERS", who do NOT want to get off of their butts and actually get a job !! Our wonderful government hand-out programs !! Please, TRY to HOPE in one hand and SPIT in the other hand! Which one is filling up the fastest ?? .
- I love the fact that he is in his 70's and could drop dead at any moment :) OBAMA '08
- Does being american mean bombing civilians, or watching people in africa die of aids due to medical patents, or does it involve letting people go sick or injured because they can't afford doctors, does being american mean people driving nice cars or flying all around the country while others starve on the streets or go homeless, is this the America McCain is proud of? 2. None of the Candidates propose a tax raise, but without it your social insurance system will collapse leaving the US bankrupt or desperate in the next two decades, all while you are funding a trillion dollar war or if the UNTIL IT GETS DONE.. multi trillion dollar war, while the cost of oil rockets above $300 / barrel and your technological superiority turns into a huge tax bill for fuel for your military. The benefit of keeping your money - those who have any to begin with is that you can pay those medical bills and put food on your table cause no one else is going to in selfish america, cause they are busy killing people half way across the world who have no Navy capable of doing war against the US. . 3. Yah after you upset half the world you'll need to. Our soldiers will eventually stay as peacekeepers and protectors of Americans abroad - as they are in many of the places around the world). There is a much more realistic term gunboat democracy, fearmongering and occupation, it turns good values like spreading democracy into diabolism. Democracy after you kill those who don't agree or go against imperialistic dominion isn't exactly a real democracy it is a puppet state. 4. Why doesn't he instead invest in habitat for humanity instead of the banks? Let americans build and own their own homes rather than financial institutions that gouge people on interest to make multiple billions only now that they default they have to pull out more money from people throwing the economy into disarray cause they need to regroup so they can keep gouging people on interest, inflation and currency games. 5. LOL. He does seem like a jolly chap but I have the sense that he is running for the GOP instead of the dems for a reason..... and it's not because he'd rather have hilary or Obama to get his job. but maybe I'm wrong.. maybe it is what he'd like so you might as well vote for them, cause he loves them anyway right...? 6. I honestly won't deny this.. if it were true, then it would put his carear as a politician under scrutiny-- plus he doesn't even claim to lower taxes.. what is that? I don't doubt McCain's honesty I havn't heard a single lie from his mouth face to face and probably never will. 7. I'm not aware of this - I'd be nice to the next potential president of the united states too, since if he were to loose his temper or have a bad day you might end up in a radiated zone. well probably not.. but arn't state leaders suppose to be nice to visiting foreign dignitaries.. if they wern't why would they bother coming to get slapped in the face--- free food and drink? 8. I wish Senator McCain luck with this. Although I support outsourcing making MORE EMPLOYMENT is the best way to keep jobs in america.. tha tis keep people employed.. outsourcing is not our enemy but lazy americans with no drive or need to work is perhaps.. 9.I spoke to soon this looks like a tax cut. --------- Now for what I love most about McCain - he is an old white guy, gun toting american gun ho former namvet with a puffy cheek due to cancer likely to kick the bucket after his term in office so that his name can be tatooed to his name in death rather than in life like Reagan as that just is scarry to have living people with aircraft carriers name after them.. Although I do think that Obama would be a cool name for a battleship USS OBAMA? no? uhm he has a funny old man walk too.. although I love him cause he is soft and cuddly but hard underneath I love most about McCain his teeth - so old yet white as pearls. I wont go and say there is no way he will be president - what I will say is that I am both scared and looking forward to how cruel and vindictive yet warm his speaches as president may be.. he doesn't seem evil.. but I have the feeling he would be... but maybe I got it all wrong. So.. his teeth. on second thought I just took a closer look... they arn't as white as I thought.. still good for a man his age though... I'll say his bald head instead --- he's a hard man with a smooth exterior.... he's AMERICAN.
- He is patriotic and after obama like of it. makes Mr. McCain shine like the Star he is. God Bless America.
- He stands for what he believes in. He is a little too moderate for me but he stands for what he believes in and that is one of the most important qualities a politician or any person in general can have.
- He's a runt and I always vote for runts.
- I like the fact that McCain cares about people, and has even adopted one kid, an African-American to be more specific.
