LOS ANGELES (AP) - The number of U.S. homes lost to foreclosure surged in July, another sign lenders are moving quicker to take back properties from homeowners behind in payments. 5. It's a buyers market. The problem is the negative propaganda spewed daily by the right. They want this country to fail. And they want it badly .
6. "What happened?" People purchased houses that they could not afford, even with assistance from the government. That, and a lot of people do not want to continue paying outrageous mortgage rates for a house that has depreciated in value. You can't force people to pay their mortgage payments. Likewise, we can not afford to pay everyone's mortgage for them.
