Upcoming Foreclosures

what is the average income for a Foreclosure/Hud clean out business?

I'm looking to start contracting with vendors in this area. i've done some research and i keep on seeing ads saying "Earn $1000-$3000 a day!" i don't think that's any where near realistic, obviously. I was wondering if anyone knew the average REAL income is for a business in this field.

  1. I think the ads are scams, but if you know banks or realtors, and can network, and get the jobs yourself, you'll do well. Set your own rates, what you think cleaning and hauling is worth in your area. By the job? by the hour? What area are you in?
  2. When banks foreclose, especially if it's a FNMA house, they retain asset managment companies to take care of the property; clean out, yard, winterize, repairs, etc. Most have a set fee. $3000/day is unrealistic. You need to google "reo asset management companies" and submit your application to the ones that service your area. Two of the largest that I am aware of are Safeguard Properties and Cyprexx. You must be a properly licensed and insured business to qualify. realtor.sailor
