Where can i find a list of foreclosures for free?

I have a few dollars that are sitting in the bank getting less than .5% interest, i would like to see my money do more for me so i thought foreclosures would be a good idea. Any other ideas, please let me know. What are your views on 20k federal bonds? thanks

1. Go to your local courthouse and check. All foreclosures have to be filed by law.
2. You can check out a site like GovernmentAuctions.org that has hundreds of foreclosure listings. I have used them in the past for cars but recently was made aware of their house auctions after a friend came over to check out some houses. You would be astonished at the deals you could get.
