I have been renting a house 4 a over 15 mos and the land lord sold it in a short sale to prevent foreclosure?

How much notice does he have to give me, i heard the law in California changed and it is a 60-day notice instead of the 30-day notice if you have been a tenant for at least 1-year, someone please help, i have smaill children, any assistance in answering this question is greatly appreciated

2. Any tenancy over 1 year requires a 60 day notice by the landlord. Under 1 year...30 days.
3. I'm not sure about Cali but as a tenant you should be granted certain rights through your contract. Review the contract terms or have a lawyer explain them to you.
