7. Hey Ban (and whoever you were before today): "Bush's failed policies" Dems have been controlling Congress for the last 2 years. Obama said he would fix everything. So far, he has done NOTHING to improve the situation. We now have a record deficit. We still have our wars. The economy continues to lose jobs at a rate of 1/2 million a month. They are bulldozing brand new model homes and apartments in CA because they are worth more as scrap landfill than they are on the market. Chrysler's just went down in flames owing us $7 billion. GM and AIG are about the do the same. (I heard that GM stock is down to $1 a share today). And Congress is running around like a bunch of hysterical girls with their heads on fire over the treatment of a few people who would cuts their throats and those of their friends and families from ear to ear in a heart beat if given half a chance. America is boned.

9. yes the economic troubles we are having right now are due to the failed LIBERAL DEMOCRAT programs in housing. They were pushing for everyone to own a home which created a housing boom which then went BUST. these are the same policies they are trying to implement as far as healthcare,where they are trying to provide healthcare for everyone BOOM BUST . the same people who control medicare {will be bankrupt within the next 6 years} Social security {will be bankrupt within the next 10 years} will control healthcare. Although, his devoted followers will say he's doing a good job and may even try to continue to blame Bush for Obama's failures in the end. Ryan C.
13. Don't you just love the mantra Bush's fault. Bush did leave them with a huge deficit but you never hear them mention that the deficit was caused by the democrat controlled congress with their power of the purse or the little fact that their beloved President was a member of that congress. They also never mention that their President and his democrat controlled congress have already quadrupled that deficit. You also never hear them mention how the democrats blocked Bush's attempt to fix social security and now they are saying it will go broke in 2016 a mere 7 years from now. They want to fix health care, well they better first fix medicare it goes broke in 2017 a mere 8 years from now. All they ever point to is his promise to lower taxes on 95% of Americans. Of course they fail to mention that 40% of Americans pay little or no taxes. All these folks are interested in is what they can get from the government. They really don't care if this great nation goes belly-up as long as they get theirs. The democrat leadership loves these people. They know that the more people they can get dependent upon the government the more people will vote for them. Wake up people!!!! Someone has to pay for all this spending. That someone is anyone who works and pays taxes. Just ask the folks in the UK how much they pay in taxes for all the things they receive "free" from the government.

Please appreciate that while I do not consider myself a democrat, I regrettably vote for the incompetent cowardly losers because as far as I am concerned I have no alternative and just to stress my persuasion, be advised if Hitler and the Nazis run against republicans in a two party vote next time, I will not call that vote an easy decision. When I assign blame for the walking disaster that is contemporary American society and culture, I blame most the uninterrupted series of pervert miscreants that account as ALL our presidents and ALL our senators and representatives going back to and including the Reagan era. Obama did not cause or escalate current conditions and is simply reinforcing every policy of the last 30 years. Absolutely nothing has changed and nothing will. Foreclosures do not increase in number because of a president or congress. Foreclosures occur because we are all insane and can't figure out how to sit down in the dirt without first asking permission then promising somebody three lifetimes of frantic labor. Our government -- or that is, WE -- have the option of not living like that anymore but evidently we are no longer capable of imagination or even recognition of the painfully obvious even if it falls off a tree and strikes us is the head. My point is, I blame my 'side'. I don't just look for the ones I don't like. I like Obama. I think he's a likable guy and I want him to make me proud but his actions and performance are garbage, not because of economic statistics but because he's still thinking the same as all the others for the last thirty years that so predictably led us to this point for the entire thirty years. If you (if WE would ALL) stop favoring, protecting and making excuses for our pets and recognize that our conditions are the consequences of all our actions, I guarantee you, our mistakes will be every bit as overwhemlingly obvious as ways to correct them. Yes, it's a failure. It's ALL a failure. 250 years of it.
