Upcoming Foreclosures

What if my bank misses the foreclosure sale date?

It's been over 2 months and the Maricopa county records have not updated. I'm wondering if the bank missed the trustee sale and, if so, what happens next. Did I win a free house?

  1. I doubt they missed the sale although they could have postponed it. I think on line county property records just do not update on a timely basis. You will be forced to leave and house will be listed with a realtor for sale. If you have one of the forelcosure notices you could contract trustee to see if sherriff sale occured.
  2. No. They will reschedule the sale. Have you tried calling the county or your lender? Look at your notice of sale, there should be a trustees name and number on there. Call and ask them for the "sale results". Then you will find out what happened.
