Do you think that there will be an election controversy this year?

Do you see another Ohio or Florida? There have been some curious things going on already to challenge people's right to vote, Michigan and the foreclosure brouhaha is an example. What if it does happen? Will people react differently, or swell with indifference?

I am sure when Obama loses he will claim its because voting computers are inherently racist and demand a recount.
There is guaranteed to be some sort of controversy. Whether it's real or not, will be the other question. If Obama loses, you can bet there will be controversies all over the place.

Bush/Gore race ended with Bush winning. The vote was counted 3 times and even by the media, still today democrats say the election was stolen. Answer is if the democrats don't win, they will sue and count votes for the next 100 years.

If/when Obama loses there will be outrage because the Obama cultists cannot comprehend that there are those that are not voting for him because of where he is on the issues. So, it will be cries of racism...etc followed by demonstrations and probably some riots in Chicago, Detroit, LA....etc.

When McCain wins; Obama and his team will scream about chads in Illinois not being counted and chads in Delaware being tossed in the Atlantic ocean. He will scream racism; when its known fact that the Blacks are holding more racism then whites. 10% white to 57% black think racism is a lot in this ole election year. That tells you who is racist and who isn't.
Of course there will. Democrats cannot abide current election laws when they do not go in their favor. They will cry "cheating" in areas that they feel they should have won in. And they will try to use exit polls to prove it. Republicans will sue to keep election laws from being changed at the last minute, and will fight to keep fraudulent votes out and in doing so will probably prevent some legitimate votes.
When Obama loses the election you can expect plenty of controversy the cries of racism will be deafening and of course the disenfranchise voters which the Democrat party is so skilled at creating even though they controlled the voting stations.
I think people really want to get out and vote for this presidential election so if someone tries to challenge a person's right to vote, it will not go down well at all. McCain/Palin 2008!!! The Obamabots are already building one.. the whole "if you don't vote for Obama you're a racist" bit. It'll be about as effective as Al Gore whining on and on after every recount showed he lost.

There is a controversy every election year.
There already IS one... Obama is one of the named Defendants, along with the Democratic National Committee, in a lawsuit known as Berg v. Obama et al., U. S. Dist. Ct, Eastern Dist. of PA; Case No.: 08-cv-04083 which legitimately questions Mr. Obama's viability as a candidate for President of the United States. Subpoenas have been filed for Obama and the DNC which require response in the next few days. Of course, the media has kept this controversy very low key in favor of other axes they'd rather be grinding. But, if the suit is ruled in favor of the Plaintiff, the DNC will be scrambling for a new candidate who has been properly vetted and certified.

Probably, because many ppl on the dem side seem to think that obama is ENTITLED to the presidency, or somthing...and if and when he loses it will get ugly...I have a sneaking suspicion he will lose...and there will be turmoil for a long time after....sore losers.

Yes...I think there are going to be lots of issues with the vote this year. I think that if there are any issues that it will be thoroughly investigated and taken to court if necessary.
