do you think government officials serve to benefit from this scandal? Do you think the millions of home foreclosures due to this were an accident or deliberate? 1. One of the government officials which can be blamed for this mess is the Secretary of the Treasury. Let's not forget the SEC as well who knew 2 years ago that trouble was looming & did nothing about it. And the greed of the CEO's of banks, mortgage & realty companies who loaned money to people they knew wouldn't be able to make mortgage pmts when interest rates went up. Maybe if you actually read the newspapers and something like TIME magazine you'd know what's been going on & who is to blame. Obama isn't to blame anymore than McCain is. I think Obama will win but not by a landslide.
