Then the rates changed. $1800 a month mortgage payments became 4,000 a month payments overnight. Looks as though Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will revert back to its original owners. The federal government. So. 1 out of 500 homeowners in the United States are facing foreclosure. In a few years, those "400,000.00 homes' will only bring 250,000.00 on the market. Does anyone see a rebound in the housing market anytime soon? And will builders just build more apartments to accommodate those who have or will lose their homes? .. ... dude I never said they were privatized by the bushes.. privitization bought out Mac and Mae. Then they got greedy...hence thei basically 'going out of business;' and DAR: quit assuming. I'm not even sure what the bush/Paulson plan is, and could care less. I just asked a few questions. .. ...

Absolutly NOT. The Government headed by the Bush Klan had to privatize FannieMae and FreddiMac so that they can obliviate American Citizens security in their homes and enslave the population. Republicans = Proud Slave Masters, their problem is that they didntrealize the populus could actually read. Republicans are knocking each others heads wondering why someone didnt tell them.

A), they were not privatized by the Bushes, that is ludicrous. B) the problem was lack of govt regulation of BANKS, not ownership of the servicing companies

My Lord! It is like we are of the same mind! When the conservative rascals first smeared Freddie's and especially Fannie's leaders several years back, and purposefully changed the way they did business I knew intuitively that they did it only to weaken yet another VERY successful PEOPLE's agency/program in order to have it fail later for the rascals' own greedy, conservative purposes. Never before in the history of these two agencies has such failures happened. They were staged failures and those who did it should pay the ultimate price.
