Texas Contract for Sale and slow payors?
A family member has several mobile homes which were sold on a contract for sale/installment agreement and most of the occupants are slow to pay every month. Do the typical landlord/tenant laws apply here and can he send them a 3 day pay or quit notice? Or does this have to be handled like a foreclosure? Any pointers would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

- That darn rent with option to buy gives them ownership rights! Check out the link for laws in any state including yours!
- Call the real estate attorney who drew up the Contract For Deeds and have them deal with it. Foreclosure costs money, but on CFD, I think it will actually take less time than a regular foreclosure.
