Va Hud Foreclosures Knowledge Base
Is it possible to get FHA (HUD) loan after foreclosure and bankruptcy on a VA Loan? I had a Veterans Loan foreclosed on 3-6 months ago and ended up filing bankruptcy (chapter 7) which will be discharged on 6-1-10. The court abandoned all interest from the government and my creditors through the bankruptcy. My reason for the foreclosure and bankruptcy was loss of a spouse's job and medical expenses from a sick child. Will I be able to get another loan through FHA (Hud) with a foreclosure on a VA loan on my record since the loan was discharged through the bankruptcy court?
Where can I find a real estate agent that sells pre & foreclosures in Washingon D.C. metro area & Norther VA? I've been told to go to a local court house, if its true, what do I need to bring? do they have it online? I have bad credit and I know I won't be able to pay the $250k and up in this area, but I can't stand living in a room with my husband at my sisters house anymore!! I've looked into HUD homes and went to vhda.com and I wanted to talk to some agent and see the tax sale properties or pre or foreclosure homes. Thanks for any info you can give me!
I live in Norhtern Virginia Any one help me to avoid Foreclosure I cant make the payment of the mortgage? I applied for Deed in Lieu, but the Lender delay it and went just for the Foreclosure. I have no idea where to go with my family in our Prince William county where the service are so bad. I called different numbers of HUD in DC and VA but they dont care or help at all !! I called money management but the stuff was not friendly . I have no idea where to go or what to do ..Forgive me to say that some times I dont beleive I am living in the greatest country in the world ! The services in here are so bad comparing with Europe or other places I just wanna add some thing for those who send pathatic racist messages confirmed my claims of such a bad services in US. I have been suddenly discharge from my good job for a very stupid purpose which was later assured as a big mistake from the company. I did not givin up and send my resume for hundered jobs, despite of my qualifications and great experiences I still since more than six months got no job. I listed my house in the market more than 3 months and got no offer and spent all my savings. My familly included my child have no health insurance at all in a country where its hospitals ask for fees from the patients and chase you with its bills!!! The misjudgement came from the others not me , the one who ruined my carrier and family was stupide new manager who later was sucked from work because of his bad managemnet from the company. Finally, in Europe treatment is free same as education and the services so freindly and civilized and treat each other as human.
First Time Home Buyers? My hubby and I are ready to buy our first home. We just want to make sure we don't get taken advantage of or screwed over in the process. Any advice on this? We are not too concerned about the loan process b/c he is in the Air Force and we are getting a VA loan at a low FIXED rate. Any tips on finding the perfect house? We have seen a lot of HUD foreclosure homes, are those bad to get into? When I think of HUD I think of assisted living, but come to find out the previous owners just had FHA loans and they foreclosed and the homes went to HUD. Any tips/advice at all will be appreciated! Thanks!
How do I get us gen inspector to look over my usda rural dev loan to detect fraud? went through savings in 09' called usda to let them know I have done my budget over & over (utilities & mtg only) & there is no way I can afford the monthly payments. Ask for documentation for how they came up w/ payments w/ no proof or response back. Showed va housing coalalition my paperwk & they sd I should have never been apprvd. The Assoc Press did article on 1/7/11 that the us gen inspector inspected 81 loans & fnd 31% fraudulant. Since Sen Warner has contacted usda they are now trying to speed me through foreclosure asap. Usda doesnt show 1yrs worth of payments paid that I have their receipts on & has my closing date 4yrs previous to actual date. In a contract w/ hud & usda..usda states once a borrow goes into default that they contact that borrower & set up a meeting to go over what happened & how this can be resolved. No one to this date has offered to even talk to me face to face. I never saw income wk sheet they did till 12/10 & no one met w/ me to go over loan regs/income they used b4 closing-hence processor is blaming title co & visa versa. All I want is for them to stop blaming me when Im not the one processing the loan, take responsibility for what they have done & correct it. They yell at you if you say they did anything wrong yet foreclose on you in a second & waste not only mine but all tax payers monies. So out of 81 loans 31% were fraudulant Yet there is 100% chance that mine is not? So how can I get the US General Inspector to look at my loan?
